THERAPISTS

Samantha Witman, LMT

Samantha Witman, LMT began her journey into the Healing Arts in 2005, after years of traveling and living abroad. Her eclectic background is, similar to the backgrounds of many healers, holistic and ever-expanding, taking the many parts of the whole person into account - body, mind and spirit.

As a massage therapist, Samantha holds space for each individual’s unwinding with consideration for their own unique needs. Her work and her client relationships are guided by deep listening and intuition along with her extensive knowledge and understanding of the human body. Samantha has spent most of her life in a deep practice of embodiment and mindfulness through meditation, yoga, running, dancing, other physical pursuits including hiking, rock climbing, and snowboarding, and receiving bodywork from numerous others in the field.

Along with massage therapy, Samantha is also a Certified Health Coach and Yoga Instructor. Samantha has been practicing yoga for 24 years and started teaching in 2008. Her yoga teachings are fluid and creative and she encourages students to move confidently in their own bodies, connected with the breath. Samantha has a deep appreciation for restorative yoga along with the power of meditation and stillness in her practice. Her massage work is largely informed by this aspect and she finds it extremely beneficial to guide clients to a restorative space in order for their bodies to receive the work and to allow true healing to occur.

Massage sessions with Samantha may include elements of Deep Tissue, Swedish Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Thai Massage, and Reflexology. The work that she offers assumes a partnership between client and therapist so that true, long-term relief and resolution of physical issues can occur. Samantha considers it a true honor to hold space for others as they connect with their bodies and are guided toward comfort, ease, physical freedom, vitality, and an optimal state of wellness.
